Pleno 1.1
Coming soon
The first version for Chrome, a free version for everyone, and a lot of care over getting a picture out of the editor.
- Now in Chrome as well as Safari. In Chrome it asks only for the tab you capture, when you capture it — not for every site you visit.
- A free version, with no time limit and no watermark: every capture mode, backgrounds and frames, exported as PNG or JPEG. A licence key unlocks the rest, in Safari and Chrome alike.
- Pages that scroll inside a panel — Gmail, Jira, Notion and most admin screens — are captured top to bottom, instead of stopping at one screenful.
- Tidy the page before it is photographed: click a banner or a promo strip to hide it, or double-click some text to rewrite it. The page goes back as it was once the capture is taken.
- A capture delay of 3, 5 or 10 seconds, for menus and hover states that vanish when you click away.
- Share straight from the editor, or drag the last export out of it — into a folder, an email or a chat.
- A new popup: the tab you are about to capture at the top, the mode you used last one keypress away, and the capture width right where you choose the mode.
- A reorganised inspector: saved styles first, frames as thumbnails, and a gradient editor with a colour stop you can type.
- The phone frame no longer draws a camera cut-out over the top of your page.
- On Windows keyboards, AltGr characters type into a text mark as they should.
Pleno 1.0
30 September 2026 · Mac App Store
The first release, as an extension for Safari.
- Full page, visible area, a single element, or a region you drag out — and capture at a phone, tablet or laptop width.
- Save the page itself as a self-contained HTML archive or as Markdown.
- Backgrounds: solid, gradient, mesh, an image, or the capture itself blurred. Frames: macOS and Safari windows, MacBook, iPhone and iPad.
- Markup: arrows you can bend, shapes, highlights, freehand drawing, text, numbered steps, redaction and obscuring.
- Export as PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF, or as a scrolling video or GIF.
- Your captures stay on your machine. No account, no analytics.
